NATCAL was founded in 1987 by Eng. Carlos Couto, starting its activity as agent of european textile machinery manufacturers for dyeing, finishing and printing.
With the recession of the Portuguese economy in 2003 and with the liberalization of the world market, NATCAL started in 2004 the buy and sale of textile machinery, for spinning, weaving, dyeing, finishing and printing, exporting to the whole world, namely to Europe, Asia, Africa and South America, in addition to continuing as an agent of some manufacturers, who have managed to overcome the crises that have arisen in the textile sector, namely Anglada (manufacturer of tumblers and continuous washing machines for felts, knitting machines and knitting machines), DatamonPlus (a specialist in online management software for weaving, dyeing, finishing and printing), Fité (a manufacturer of singeing machines and packaging machines) and Heliot (manufacturer of squeezers, dryers, calenders and compacting machines for open and tubular knit).
Since 2017, NATCAL has also become a representative of Tacome, a Spanish manufacturer of textile machinery and complete printing and finishing plants, namely digital printing machines, flat printing machines, steamers, washing lines, stenters, dryers, raisings, shearings and emerising machines.
In addition to its strong presence in the Portuguese market, NATCAL also participate annually in several international fairs in the textile sector, such as Heimtextil (Germany), Colombiatex (Colombia), Expotextil (Peru), Egytex (Egypt), Textyle Expo (Algeria), Morocco Style (Morocco), among others, accompanying, in this way, all the clients it has around the world.
NATCAL stands out for the quality and reliability of its services, considering each customer as an indispensable strategic partner. In this way, we have at your disposal a team of competent professionals specialized in the dismantling, assembly, repair and maintenance of machines, in order to always guarantee customer satisfaction.
In order to ensure the continuity of the company, NATCAL also counts on the collaboration of two sons, Eng. Carlos Viana Couto and Dr. André Natal Couto, who have also bet on the technological side of the company, implementing a new website (www .natcal.pt), which has a buying and selling platform for textile machinery, in order to reach not only new markets, but also to provide better interaction with the customer.
